Invited Speaker Series: Prof. Dr. Tobias Brixner Visits OPTEXC at the University of Bayreuth

On June 8, 2026, the OPTEXC research training group was pleased to host Prof. Dr. Tobias Brixner from the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg for a day of insightful scientific exchange at the University of Bayreuth.
The day commenced with a morning tutorial titled „Introduction to 2D Electronic Spectroscopy.“ Prof. Brixner provided a comprehensive and practical overview of this powerful analytical technique, drawing great interest from attendees.

Following a lunch break, the program continued with an advanced scientific presentation on „Isolating Multi-Particle Correlations in Time and Space.“ This session explored key challenges and recent breakthroughs aimed at overcoming the current limitations of single-particle models.
The event successfully brought together OPTEXC Principal Investigators (PIs), PhD students, and interested members of the broader University of Bayreuth academic community. This diverse gathering fostered a highly productive exchange of ideas and collaborative discussions.
