Dr. Meike Kuhn: Graduating our third OPTEXC PhD!

The festive season is upon us (almost)!

We are delighted to see Meike Kuhn graduate as our third OPTEXC joint PhD student with Chris McNeill from Monash University and Eva M. Herzig from Universität Bayreuth as her supervisors! It has been a joy to have her as a member of the first cohort (and as student representative no less) with an exciting thesis on „Film formation and thermal response of hybrid and organic semiconductors“. Obviously, last Friday after her defense, German graduation traditions were duly observed when Meike was presented with her 🎓 PhD mortarboard and a cart ride across campus fuelled by Chris and Eva 🛒 – all the best for a bright future ahead!
