The Qualification Program
The basis of our qualification programme is an interdisciplinary approach that goes beyond studying only physics or only chemistry. We want to bridge and join the communities of optical excitations in organic and inorganic semiconductors. This shapes the three elements of our qualification programme:
Scientific Research
in an international and interdisciplinary environment with stays between 3 and 12 months at the partner institution.
Supervision
structures that lead to early independence of our early career researchers
Training
by lectures, schools and workshops that cross the boundaries of the traditional fields of physics and chemistry.
Moreover, we offer a Joint PhD, sometimes called Double Degree. After spending 12 months at the partner university abroad, you obtain a PhD from both universities simultaneously.
This is detailed in our regulations.
